You’ve Got Your Dad’s Feet

Mod Roc, hand spun and dyed yarn, 2026

You Have Your Dad’s Feet consists of casts taken directly from my own feet. The work began with a phrase my mother has repeated throughout my life: “You have your dad’s feet.”

The work explores inheritance, absence and connection, considering how familial relationships can persist through the body even when our relationships are fractured. By isolating the feet, the work focuses on the part of the body that grounds and carries us all through the world.
