Gully 2026, perfomance and sound
Gully is a short film capturing the repetitive rhythm of rag rug weaving using techniques passed down from my mother, who learned them in her childhood in Jamaica. Paired with a recording of my grandmother teaching me a Jamaican folk song, the film explores intergenerational exchange through both voice and making.
